Her character was a hit and earned De La Garza various nominations like Best Supporting Actress - Television through the Imagen Foundation Awards and even multiple ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she won an Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring part. She was Marisol Delko's wife and the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. She played Dr. Lena Solis, she appeared in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was canceled by NBC in the first two episodes.
